Application: Each kyusu is made by hand by craftsmen with great care and attention. The triangular tip of the kyusu mouth allows tea to flow out easily and prevents leakage from the bottom of the pot. It uses an elaborate ceramic tea strainer [ceramish] made by traditional techniques. You can taste the original rich flavor of Japanese tea leaves.

This kyusu was designed by Noritaka Murata, a lecturer at the Nippon Brand Meister Course. Craftsmanship with a focus on ease of use. This kyusu is made from the viewpoint of a kyusu instructor, and is very particular about ease of use.
1. Can be used for both hot and cold teas! In summer, it can be used as a kyusu for cold tea with ice.
2. The craftsman hand-scrapes the edges to make it lightweight.
3. The spout has a pelican shape for easy washing and tea draining.
4. It has a stopper to prevent tea leaves from spilling.
5. Three slots are cut on the back side for easy draining after washing.
6. The wide mouth allows tea leaves to open well inside the kyusu for a delicious cup of tea.
7. The narrow lid shelf prevents tea leaves from spilling out of the lid and makes it easy to dispose of tea leaves.
