This matcha is vibrant green and perfectly balanced—earthy yet subtly sweet. It whisked beautifully for traditional tea preparation and blended seamlessly into lattes.

This matcha stands out as much better priced and higher quality than many other products found online. It truly checked all the boxes for me: it's from Uji, the most established region for matcha production, made with Hikari, one of the best and most versatile cultivars, and boasts a vibrant color. I'm thoroughly enjoying it both as usucha and in lattes, and I will definitely be ordering it again.

This matcha powder receives high praise from my Japanese family members, who consider it one of the best. My daughters and wife are particularly pleased with its quality. Having experienced issues with other products, including "fake Uji matcha" that caused illness, we can confidently say this is real Uji matcha. It yields great results in oatly matcha lattes, making them very flavorful and creamy. Highly recommended!

This tea has an excellent flavor. It's light-tasting and not too astringent. However, the bag size is quite small.

I used the entire packet to make 20 ounces of hot tea, hoping to reuse the leaves a couple of times. The tea tastes great. It's the real deal.

This green tea is exactly what I look for: bright, grassy, and not too bitter. I rarely add sugar to my tea, and this one is perfect without it. I'd definitely buy it again

While the 3.5oz pouch of Hojicha Powder is a bit pricey at $39.99, the quality justifies the cost. Finding good quality Hojicha powder can be challenging. This one has an amazing smell and taste. I use it for evening lattes, and it's a delightful treat after a long day. The flavor is smooth with nutty undertones and a hint of chocolate and caramel. No sweetener is needed, it's delicious as is

As this was my first experience with roasted green tea powder, I had nothing to compare it to. Initially, the powder had a slight kelp-like smell, but a deeper sniff revealed a hint of green tea or grass. It's finely ground and has a golden-brown color. The taste was slightly sweet and grassy, but I didn't detect any caramel notes. While the quality seems high, brewing instructions would have been helpful, especially for those new to hojicha.I recommend this product to those familiar with hojicha and know how to prepare it.

As someone familiar with matcha, I was eager to try hojicha for the first time. This sample size powder provided a great introduction. Unlike matcha, hojicha is roasted, giving it a distinct smoky aroma and a cocoa-like flavor with subtle sweet and bitter notes. I enjoyed the smooth taste and texture.

Just read the first part and skimmed through the recipes, so I haven't been able to actually cook any of them yet, but I am excited to! BUT even the info on tofu such as how it is made and different ways to enjoy it was super insightful. I have always wanted to know how tofu is made. I am excited to try these recipes!

I chose Shizuoka's Finest Organic Cooking Matcha from All Day I Eat Like a Shark tea shop because I wanted to experiment with cooking using matcha without compromising my ceremonial-grade powder. While the matcha has a pleasant aroma, it's slightly bitter, which is typical for culinary-grade matcha. It's definitely not suitable for traditional matcha tea. I made a quick latte with it, and the sweetness helped to balance the bitterness. However, I do think it's a bit overpriced compared to other culinary-grade matcha options on the market.

As a recent matcha tea enthusiast, I'm no expert. However, this matcha produced a lovely cup of tea. It mixed well and had a good flavor, comparable to other brands I've tried.I appreciate the option to try a sample size before committing to a larger purchase.

This Okumidori matcha is delicious and refreshing. The powder is bright green and whisks up super smooth. It has a rich flavor with a mild sweetness to it, and is not bitter. I used it to make a latte and it was tasty and flavorful. This comes in a little resealable pouch, making it great for travel. It's certified organic and packaged in Japan. Overall, it's a great, ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha. I really enjoyed it.

This is a delicious ceremonial matcha. It whisks up well and tastes very rich and good. It also seems to be quite fresh, making a lovely cup.I appreciate that this is certified USDA organic and has a best before date of 08/31/2025 (which is 5 months out from the current date). It's a very tasty matcha that I can surely recommend.

This ceremonial grade matcha offers a good flavor and a very nice color. The small amount in the pack is somewhat expected given its quality. This matcha is best saved for drinking rather than baking, for which you can use a cheaper alternative.

This organic and plain matcha is perfect for both tea and desserts. A small bag yields about 5 cups of tea, so it can be used up quickly. When purchasing, always compare prices carefully; sometimes buying multiple small packages can be more economical than a single large one.

Don't let the small, simple bag fool you; this matcha powder is exceptional. It boasts a vibrant green color and delivers an authentic taste, akin to what you'd experience in Japan, with every sip. At just $5 shipped, it's a far more affordable option than what you'd find at a local Japanese supermarket.
