I truly enjoy this Organic Japanese black tea with Cherry Blossom leaves. It has a smooth, delicate flavor that doesn't require any added sweeteners. The travel-size bag is convenient and provides enough tea for several cups, making it perfect for enjoying on the go.

This tea has an excellent flavor. It's light-tasting and not too astringent. However, the bag size is quite small.

I used the entire packet to make 20 ounces of hot tea, hoping to reuse the leaves a couple of times. The tea tastes great. It's the real deal.

This green tea is exactly what I look for: bright, grassy, and not too bitter. I rarely add sugar to my tea, and this one is perfect without it. I'd definitely buy it again

While the 3.5oz pouch of Hojicha Powder is a bit pricey at $39.99, the quality justifies the cost. Finding good quality Hojicha powder can be challenging. This one has an amazing smell and taste. I use it for evening lattes, and it's a delightful treat after a long day. The flavor is smooth with nutty undertones and a hint of chocolate and caramel. No sweetener is needed, it's delicious as is

As this was my first experience with roasted green tea powder, I had nothing to compare it to. Initially, the powder had a slight kelp-like smell, but a deeper sniff revealed a hint of green tea or grass. It's finely ground and has a golden-brown color. The taste was slightly sweet and grassy, but I didn't detect any caramel notes. While the quality seems high, brewing instructions would have been helpful, especially for those new to hojicha.I recommend this product to those familiar with hojicha and know how to prepare it.

As someone familiar with matcha, I was eager to try hojicha for the first time. This sample size powder provided a great introduction. Unlike matcha, hojicha is roasted, giving it a distinct smoky aroma and a cocoa-like flavor with subtle sweet and bitter notes. I enjoyed the smooth taste and texture.

This matcha is vibrant green and perfectly balanced—earthy yet subtly sweet. It whisked beautifully for traditional tea preparation and blended seamlessly into lattes.

This matcha stands out as much better priced and higher quality than many other products found online. It truly checked all the boxes for me: it's from Uji, the most established region for matcha production, made with Hikari, one of the best and most versatile cultivars, and boasts a vibrant color. I'm thoroughly enjoying it both as usucha and in lattes, and I will definitely be ordering it again.

This matcha powder receives high praise from my Japanese family members, who consider it one of the best. My daughters and wife are particularly pleased with its quality. Having experienced issues with other products, including "fake Uji matcha" that caused illness, we can confidently say this is real Uji matcha. It yields great results in oatly matcha lattes, making them very flavorful and creamy. Highly recommended!

As a matcha newcomer, I found Shizuoka's Finest Organic Ceremonial Matcha to be a great choice. It produces a pleasant, easy-to-drink matcha tea.My first matcha powder was a different brand, also ceremonial grade. It was a much more vibrant green and had a very strong umami flavor, almost overpowering for a beginner.Shizuoka's Finest is a more muted, earthy green. While it might be too subtle for cooking or baking, it's perfect for a simple, enjoyable cup of matcha tea.

Is matcha powder worth the high cost of getting JAS certified, ceremonial grade, authentic Japanese, 100% pure matcha powder? To find out, I made two cups of matcha tea simultaneously: one from this Japanese matcha ($21.25/oz.) and the other from a fresh Chinese "ceremonial grade" powder that cost nearly $15/oz. The results were clear. The Chinese tea had a slightly fishy smell and taste, more like green teas I've brewed from loose leaves or tea bags. The Japanese matcha produced a deeper green color, a milder flavor with no off-notes, and was overall more enjoyable. Even as a three-time visitor to Japan, I believe this matcha is as good or better than any matcha green tea I've had previously. So, yes, this tea might be worth the extra cost.

Matcha green tea is different from the green tea you find in the regular grocery stores. The taste is delicate. I never thought I'd use this word to describe it because it's such a pretentious word, but it's aroma and taste are divine. There, I said it, but it's true.

Just read the first part and skimmed through the recipes, so I haven't been able to actually cook any of them yet, but I am excited to! BUT even the info on tofu such as how it is made and different ways to enjoy it was super insightful. I have always wanted to know how tofu is made. I am excited to try these recipes!

This Hojicha is absolutely delightful. It has a rich, thick flavor profile without any bitterness. The smooth texture and pleasant aroma make it incredibly satisfying. I'd happily buy a full-sized bag, or even a barrel, of this delicious tea

This Hojicha tea has great flavors. It tasted like roasted green tea and the best part is that it doesn't have much caffeine, which is good for nighttime drinks. I would recommend it.

As a green tea enthusiast, I was curious to try Hojicha. It's quite delightful, more fragrant than traditional green tea, leaning towards oolong. The roasting process imparts a unique flavor profile, with a subtle raspberry aftertaste. While I don't typically associate raspberry with tea, it's an interesting and pleasant surprise.
