Following the brewing instructions yields a good cup of tea. I’ve been re-steeping the leaves two more times a day, making it a good value

This tea smells and tastes fantastic. I used 3 grams of tea per 100mL of 80°C water, steeping for 30 seconds each time. The result was excellent! While the small package is a bit pricey, it’s a good way to sample the tea.

Smell really good. I just wish it would come with pre-bagged.

This makes a lovely cup of tea and has a light earthy flavor to it. I prefer to drink bancha when it’s more mellow, so I steeped this at 160 F for just under a minute. Came out beautifully! The bag was easy to reseal and keeps it nice and fresh.

I’m a fan of green and white tea, but some roasted teas can be overdone, masking the tea’s natural flavor. This hojicha, however, is delicately roasted, maintaining a light body and a delightful taste. I’ll definitely be adding the regular-sized bag to my collection.

Nice, crisp subtle scent of green tea.
The leaves are plentiful and big. Steeped for a few minutes and had to add a few more leaves to get a deeper flavor and color.

I brought this tea to a cabin weekend with a friend whose wife is Japanese. She was excited to try it and deemed it authentic and quite good. It’s a mild, clean, and slightly grassy tea. We were able to get two steeps out of each portion, enjoying two days of tea from one bag. The packaging is luxurious, making it a great choice for a special tea experience.

The cute packaging gives a friendly, local feel. The tea leaves are fresh, large, and have a pleasant aroma. While the flavor is subtle, it’s a good introduction to bancha tea, especially for those unfamiliar with its mild, matcha-like taste. Adding lemon transforms it into a comforting drink, similar to a remedy for a cold. This sample size is perfect for trying out bancha and exploring its unique flavor profile.

Its crisp, verdant flavor with a subtle sweetness is a testament to Shizuoka’s tea-making heritage. Each sip offers a moment of calm and mindfulness, making it perfect for relaxation or meditation. Its gentle yet invigorating brew is ideal for unwinding after a long day. I highly recommend this tea to anyone seeking a tranquil and flavorful tea experience.

As a tea enthusiast, I’m always eager to try new varieties. This Shizuoka’s Finest Organic Bancha tea is a delightful discovery. It offers an authentic Japanese green tea experience with a light roast. I truly enjoy its taste. It’s a great tea.

One of the things I appreciate about bancha tea is its delicate, nutty flavor, thanks to the roasting process. It’s a versatile tea, perfect for any time of day, especially as a post-meal relaxation drink. Roasting also reduces caffeine levels, making it suitable for anytime consumption.
As soon as I opened the package, I was greeted with a wonderful earthy aroma with a hint of grassiness. The tea itself is a vibrant green color. It brews quickly to avoid bitterness, resulting in a complex, mild, and warming flavor. Given its organic, artisanal nature, the price is quite reasonable. I highly recommend this tea

This was my first experience with bancha tea. Compared to regular green tea, it’s lighter and more refreshing. While it has a mild bitterness, the overall taste is milder.
The trial-size bag is perfect for sampling and can yield around 3-4 cups or one pot. It’s a great way to try bancha tea before committing to a larger quantity.

This tea has a smooth and pleasant taste. It really is a cut above the average store bought green tea. The roasting brings a nice mellowness to the flavor and it brews cleanly. Great for tea lovers.

We enjoy a wide variety of teas. Although neither my wife or I typically like green tea due to its often “grassy” taste. However, we both liked this tea quite well. It was not “grassy” at all and was very light on the palette. The sample 10g bag made a few cups for both of us. The bag is well made and well sealed to maintain the freshness of tea.
