Our Story

Hey, I’m Pat, a second generation Japanese American who loves to share Japanese culture with you.
My parents came from Japan and taught me a lot about it, the language and the culture. They also took me there a lot to see our family and the country.
It's like another home to me.
Over time, I also fell in love with the products for the home, especially the ones with traditional designs and making tea.
I wanted to share my culture and passion with you and others who might not know much about Japan.
So I started my food blog back in 2016 where I shared Japanese recipes and then my youtube channel back in 2018 to do the same.
This new online store is a new extension of the above, where I sell awesome Japanese products for you and your home that are made in Japan
I want to help you learn more about Japan and its products and enjoy them as much as possible.
And that's why I've hand selected a variety of products here that will make your life more delicious, beautiful and fun.
My goal is to help you celebrate the joy of eating and living well.
Whether you are looking for Japanese tea, tea ware, Japanese household goods or cookbooks, cooking classes, we have something for you.
And don’t worry, we won’t bite. As long as you ask us nicely. 😉
Take your time and have a look around. You might find something you didn’t know you needed, but can’t live without.
If you want to know more about Japan and its culture, you can also read my blog where I share Japanese recipes and my experiences and stories from Japan.
You can also sign up for my newsletter where I give you other goodies you might enjoy.
Thanks for checking out my store and my story. I hope you find something that catches your eye and brings you and your families many beautiful memories to come.
If you have any questions or feedback, just let me know. I’d love to chat with you.
Pat Tokuyama didn't start a tea company — he started a way of life.

It began in the kitchen, cooking Japanese food at home. Not for convenience, but for connection. Every dish was a small rebellion against shortcuts: no MSG, no preservatives, just real ingredients and real flavor. Some recipes came from sun-drenched Okinawa, others from snowy Hokkaido. Not every meal was perfect, but each one brought him closer to the Japan he loved.
That philosophy never left.
Here’s why Pat Tokuyama
cook Japanese food at home

When Pat founded All Day I Eat, he brought the same intentionality to Japanese tea. Just as cooking at home means controlling your ingredients, brewing tea at home means slowing down, being present, and choosing quality over convenience.
Today, we curate premium Japanese teas and authentic pottery — not because they're trendy, but because they're genuine. Every product we share is an invitation: to taste something real, to embrace the ritual, and to bring a piece of Japan's rich culinary heritage into your everyday life.
One cup. One moment. All day.
